Welcome to the discovery of myself throughout this semester for EDU702
7 Jan 2011 : 1st day of class - We have learned the brief overview
of educational research, we have been taught of what is educational research all about and the idea of why we should or need to come out with educational research & how to write a research proposal!
21 Jan 2011 : 2nd day of meeting in class! We were required to log in into TURNITIN & create a student account under EDU702 with class id of 3623841. On that day as well, we have been divided into group of three in order to do group presentation on 25 February 2011. My group consists of three: me.. myself, Haryati & Mastura. We got a title of Phenomenology Research! We started divided tasks to each other!
We have also been taught of definition of research problem, literature review and type of educational research.
11 Feb 2011 : We have learned more details into what is all about research methodology after came back from mid- term break! We touched on research design : sampling, instrumentation , questionnaires. Group presentation on types of research started with 1st group to 4th group which they presented on experimental, correlational, causal comparative and survey!
25 Feb 2011 : Dr. Izaham have taught us types of instrumentation : interviews, checlists, obeservations and he touched on data analysis as well but more into qualitative data. Group presentation had been continued with ethnographic, phenomenology, historical and case studies!
Our group presentation was received compliment from Dr. Izaham! which he said "very good!"
11 March 2011 : Lesson has continued with data analysis on qualitative data and quantitative data!
25 March 2011 : We have required to do outline of our research proposal in order for Dr Izaham to see our title and topic that we intend to propose. As for me, I have proposed to Dr. Izaham for three times but 1st, 2nd proposal have not met what Dr. Izaham has expected. Finally, my 3rd proposal about implementation of TQM in school has been approved by Dr. Izaham in order for me to proceed!
We have been told that the next class would be our last day class which we have to sit for our test/quiz and also the presentation of research proposal!
8 April 2011 : Before we start our presentation, we were required to sit for test for first half of class! The test was extremely hard, I pray hard I would pass the test! After Asar prayer arund 6pm, the presentation of research proposal began! Dr. Izaham was happy with my presentation but he mentioned that I should simplify my research objectives and research questions, he said "you are too ambitious!"
I have amended few details of my research proposal!
15 April 2011 : I have submitted my research proposal and I really hope and my wish to get an A for this subject!!
16 April 2011 : I emailed Dr. Izaham mentioning to reach my blogspot by providing the URL address.
